New mahjong rules for next round and always

we have been playing the same old mahjong rules for so long. Now to spice things up me and aosh have decided to change things up a little. our next game is going to be 3 types of possible game with the "fei" tiles....hehehe

We have decided to have 3 possibilities of games

1) Normal/classic game - use "fei" as fei/joker that you can combine with any tiles u want.
2) Fei as fan point - the fei will become your bonus point (same as the axe tile) for fan calculation only. cannot be used for joker
3) No fei game - Removal of all 4 fei from the tiles.

We noticed people like tofu and skl always win with fei on their hands so now we decided to have 3 type of fei options to make it more fun. lets see if you really have to skills or luck to come out with big big combo! wahahahaha!

Here is how our mahjong game is going to work. First each of us choose which is our wind that will determine out seat. Tong will choose the seating location and for the one who got pat, he will choose 1 of the 3 tiles that is going to be a fei, flower, and white dragon tiles. Choosing 1 of the 3 tiles is going to determine the type of game as explained below

1) Fei - Normal/classic game
2) flower - Fei as fan point
3) white dragon - Fei removed

Clear enough? Now i cant wait to test this out! fast fast lets play mahjong with new rules?

By the way, why 9 gates cannot not be considered as straight win like 13 yeu?
Furthermore points for 9 gates should be even more than pearl/red/green dragon combo rite?

9 gates is about 16 points at least (10 (for combo) + 6 (pure))

The only difference is 13 wonder cannot use fei while 9 gates can use fei

We will going to have another mahjong match with new rules on 5 October!
