Mahjong Season 2011

The time of the year has come again. It's time for Mahjong time! This season we shall see who is the 'PAU WU' king, "KAI WU' king, and best of all BANKRUP KING!

Last season AOSH didn't manage to go bankrup at all. So this year who shall it be? That we shall find out this coming MAHJONG SEASON 2011! Will be played during CNY time!

Time for u all to brush up ur skills!

Ok, We will have game on 2nd day of CNY (4th Feb) at 8pm onwards. On that day, I will be around from my holiday. Anyone are free on this day?

And also we will have awards on this season.

Aosh - 10 wins
Tofu - 4 wins
SKL - 1 win, 2 Bankrupt
Barney - 1 Bankrupt

Day 2
Aosh - 8 Wins
Tofu - 3 wins, 1 Bankrupt
SKL - 4 Wins, 1 false win, 1 Bankrupt
Barney - 1 win

i think barney got 2 wins on day 2....he won the first game if excluded skl false win...then he won another time

now we shall think what award and achievements for mahjong.
of course I will list out all of them in one page for reference.

i won 2 times for day 2!
aosh should get the winning streak award
skl should get the bankrup king award and give people eat award....hahahaha
tofu should get the play safe award....hahaha

All honors can be a few wind/ dragon only? no need complete?

but all dragons only 7 points?? not worth 10 points??

2) Blessing of Earth - Non-east player wins on East's first discard
3) All flowers in hand...

It is very unlikely but could happen....

actually which type of mahjong we are playing? Hong Kong? a fren told me hong kong doesnt have joker in their tiles. true?

- as long as there's no bamboo, no balls and no characters in your hands, it is consider all honors, but of course, all pongs and a pair of any wind/dragons

- this is the original points most of it. but if you guys want it 10 points then we make it 10 points. The 2 pong of dragon and a pair we can make it 7 points in total. How's that sound?

Robbing kong means sek wu with a kong?
- Yes. Only can do when the opponent already Pong the tiles before and then pick the 4th tile and attempt to kong on top of the Pong. When the opponent Kong on top of the Pong, and your tiles need that tile, you can sek wu from based on opponent Kong. That's Robbing Kong. It doesn't work if the opponent Kong straight away.

This mahjong is more on Singaporean, similiar like Hong Kong but more tiles (joker and animals) and the points we played more on singaporean rules.
